Run a full health scan across supported systems, including the engine, transmission, brakes, chassis and body electronics. PD-1 can surface stored issues even when the check engine light is off. Review each finding before discussing the car’s condition.
Ask the seller’s permission. Park safely and switch the vehicle off before connecting PD-1, then follow the app’s scan instructions.
Supplied Full Scan example. Results are specific to the car and scan shown.

Cleared fault memory
Has fault memory been cleared?
PD-1 checks for signs that fault-code memory was recently cleared, where supported. A clear dashboard or an empty fault list is not the whole story. Ask the seller about any reset and arrange follow-up checks.
PD-1 uses available OEM live data from the car’s modules, fault codes, freeze frames and supported mileage records to estimate possible mileage tampering. Compare the findings with the odometer and service history before buying.
Compare the scan with similar car models in the PD-1 database. See recurring faults and how this car’s reported issues compare, so you know what to ask about during an independent pre-purchase inspection.
Comparison section from your supplied app screen. Counts and percentages are example records, not a diagnosis or a prediction.
A question for the seller and your inspector
“Can you explain these faults, reset clues or mileage differences?”
Illustrative guidance, not a customer testimonial.
A MORE INFORMED NEXT STEP
Start with the right setup for your car.
Start with PD-1 and the app. Full Scan coverage, fault-memory checks and mileage records depend on the vehicle and supported control units. Confirm the checks you need for the exact car before relying on them.
