REMOTE SCAN / REMOTE DIAGNOSTICS

Your mechanic.
A closer look,
from a distance.

Share diagnostic context with a trusted workshop through PD-1. Explore the flow shown in the supplied app references.

See the reference flow ↓Reference screens, not a live connection or launch announcement.
Reference: mechanic connected, scan progress and session activity
WHAT YOU NEED

PD-1 + a compatible vehicle

Workshop access is planned through a web view or the same PD-1 consumer app. No separate workshop app. Final access rules and release availability remain to be confirmed.

01 / CREATE & SHARE

From the Scan tab
to a shared session.

The reference places Remote Scan alongside the other scan options, then shows permissions and link sharing.

Swipe horizontally on smaller screens, or tap the image to enlarge.

1

Create a link.

The Scan tab shows Remote Scan with a Create Link action.

2

Choose the context.

The reference shows a vehicle selector, DTC fault-code, live-data and system-information permissions, plus a link-duration control.

3

Share with your workshop.

The ready screen shows QR, share and copy options. The QR and access link are hidden in this website copy.

The duration shown in the reference is an example, not a confirmed release policy. These controls have not been validated as live behavior.

02 / FOLLOW THE SESSION

See the scan
taking shape.

The supplied progress screen shows a mechanic connection, a scan-progress indicator and a session activity timeline.

  • Connection and scan activity in one view
  • A reminder to keep PD-1 connected
  • A visible Stop Remote Access control

The screen describes ending the session and revoking the shared link. This is reference UI; permission enforcement and revocation behavior still require validation.

03 / THE WORKSHOP VIEW

The same context.
A web view, too.

The browser reference shows Full Scan, Custom Scan, Basic Live Data and Reports, with an End Remote Scan control.

The planned workflow helps a trusted workshop review supported fault codes and live or OEM live data where available, then discuss repair assessment, pricing and safety concerns.

Vehicle identifier hidden. The reference does not establish that every system, OEM data item or report is available for every vehicle.
